Linked belts = no vibration

Well a buddy of mine asked me to try linked belts just for the heck of it. So I did, not expecting much but it has completely removed the vibration. The saw passes the nickel test. Now its on to moving the saw to its final resting place in the workshop and wire it accordingly. Then, get the T2 fence installed. BTW, let me apologize for the poor video, it’s a cheapo camera. Tool Mods #2: Ridgid Bandsaw Stabilization Complete

I’ve been working on this bandsaw for quite a while now. Early last year I replaced the belt and changed the tires and put a mobile base under her. Then, back over the summer, I bought some lead tape and balanced the wheels. I also replaced the stock blade with a 1/4” Olson one. The guy at Woodcraft talked me out of the Timberwolf. Why, I’ll never know. This thing barely cuts better than the stock blade. Anyway, back in the fall, as this thing is still vibrating too...

Ridgid R4511 Vibration

Hello,About a week ago I purchased this great Ridgid R4511 Tablesaw. It’s an unbelievable upgrade from my 20+ Sears 10” tablesaw. It’s all set up, and squared off. I purchased a piece of phenolic so i can make zero clearance inserts.
