This is a continuation of Part 5. 32 feet of reachable shelves and 16 feet of underneath the shelf storage for mobile tools and tool chests. Do you have this much shelf in your shop ? When I plan ahead for a one wall workshop. Rethinking this set of Shelves in a positive light. When I took a new look at these shelves and said take out the bottom row, now the 2nd row up is 43 inches up—- about mid chest and the 3rd row up is about 63 inches up——about nose height . ...

Here is the first quick video I did of using space “Between the Studs” in my small shop to make storage space and not take up a lot of the shop footprint! If you have a small shop and storage is a problem, this may be a good solution for you! I made these out of shorts and leftovers from previous projects!

I recently had an opportunity to take advantage of what I thought could be an improved storage unit in the shop. A local office was upgrading their lateral filing cabinets and I had a chance at the used ones (all I had to do was pick them up). I thought it would be a good idea, since the cabinets are designed to hold a lot of weight and would provide some dust protection.
after a month of use, I really like them and it frees up some of my drawer space under my benches!
