So here are the “Between the Stud” cabinets finished, minus knobs. These gave me some nice storage up and out of the way! With one more interior wall I may just make some more there too! Watch the video to see whats inside!

Here is the first quick video I did of using space “Between the Studs” in my small shop to make storage space and not take up a lot of the shop footprint! If you have a small shop and storage is a problem, this may be a good solution for you! I made these out of shorts and leftovers from previous projects!

Matthew and I were going to do a video this weekend but got side tracked with the need for storage. Things are piling up and disorder is setting in. Time to get things in order a little. Last week I added a drawing for shop cabinets to the free plans section on www.thenewfoundlandwoodworker.com . They are very basic, and cheap. This is them :)Mind the doors, they are stuck on with double faced tape for now. Hinges Monday

Okay – So far I have the following:
Craftsman 10” Contractor Table Saw (which I really dislike)Craftsman 12” Chop SawCraftsman 6” Jointer (Bench Top)Craftsman 12” Drill Press (Bench Top)Porter Cable 690 Router (Fixed/Plunge Base)26’x22’ (572sq’) of Garage Space (Minus washer/dryer, etc.) 9 Feet of workbench surface of which will be torn out ASAP!
Now I need to build a chop saw station that will be appox. 10’ long with cabinet storage...
