1940's Delta Unisaw #1: Should I Buy?

I found a 1940’s Delta Unisaw on ebay for 175 bucks. It is rusted and has a big motor in it. He says it is single phase with 1750 as the rpm. The cast iron on the top is rusted, but could be removed with chemicals, a grinder, or electroalisis. This one has the rare oval motor cover on it as well, it also has the original switch cover, but not switch. I’m not sure if the motor works or not. Should I buy this or not, I’m debating. I’ll probably restore it back to origina...

So, I took my family to the Grand Rapids Museum today. For those of you that do not know, Grand Rapids was and still is a center for the furniture industry here in the U.S.A. Our local museum has a very large area dedicated to this industry. It includes a large steam engine that belt drives numerous working antique pieces of equipment. The museum also has hundreds of antiques pieces of furniture. But, the most interesting thing was this great bicycle.
