On this French Fry Friday, I’m going to feature a mirror. This was a custom mirror order that tied into the “Cars” theme. I started with my standard 6 drawer dresser painted it red for the customer, but they needed a mirror. This is the design we came up with.. It is made from two circles slightly different sizes. Hy Fellow Lumber Jocks and Guests. Here are a few pictures with 2 coats of the Rust-Oleum Ultimate Wood Stain American Walnut. I like the way it coats and provides a uniform color. Round Table for School Room #1: Trying to cure Incomplete Project Syndrome

I had 2 weeks off from work and determined to make a table for the homeschool room. I’ve emptied the full dust collector twice in a week and broken 3 clamps, so something is happening. 3 days remaining. More glue up tonight. We will see if I make it! -Paul

Forge table #6: Turning the legs

Got some time at the lathe today and here’s what happened: Took me almost an hour per leg, but the last one went quicker than the first couple, so there was progress. Most of the work was done with the skew, but a little with a thumbnail gouge and some with a domed scraper. Then it was time to bore holes for the stretchers.
