Toy Construction #189: Reading Train Got the boiler under control to day. #4 1/2

This build has an unbelievable amount of very small parts I could see building this at twice the plans size and this would really be a fun project.. Drilled all the holes for the boiler, all kinds of valves and hand rail holes to get just right. Made a quick jig to hold the boiler while I set everything up and got er drilled.This made it quite easy to put all the markings in place to drill. Then start putting it all together.

I have been reading a lot about Greene & Greene lately, gotten a couple of green and green books witch displays the extraordinary style the two Brothers had. I enjoy reading woodworking blogs.  I find them a great source of information, ideas, and some personal tidbits that help give the rest some added context. I am very interested to learn more about woodworking and studing this hobby any chance I get. While visiting my sister in Florida I conned my brother inlaw into getting a W. palm beach library card so I could check out some interesting woodworking titles I can’t find back home in California. The library has an online catalog thats very helpful to find what is avaliable and which library the book is at. I really cannot afford to buy any books right now.
