ONEWAY Live Center Repair

I damaged my ONEWAY live center a few weeks back and finally got around you repairing it this morning! I placed a split pin in the “locking hole” and then installed the live center in the headstock. I’ve been hanging around LJ’s for a while now, enjoying all of the projects that people are posting. A lot of the work is truly magnificent, and is certainly inspirational. While I’m in the process of finishing up a set of 8 dining room chairs (finally!), I’ve developed an interest in turning, especially segmented bowls and the like. My latest journey has taken me not far from my hometown. I had the opportunity to speak with Kevin Clay of Oneway Mtg, which is located in Stratford, Ontario. The HistoryOneway Mtg, which is owned by Kevin’s father, began as a contract machine shop. One day they received an order for a chuck.
