Tasmanian Eucalyptus Burl coffee table

This is my first table. Amazed to see coffee table’s prices today, I decided to build one.I’m inspired by retro tables like Kindney table, Danish design and Nakashima’s artwork. This is a Tasmanian Eucalyptus Burl slab.I want to create a coffee table like this one :http://www.surfingcowboys.com/woslcowihale.html I find the hairpin legs :http://www.ianmaclean.com/ Now I will sanding with avrasive paper 50, 80, 120, 180 and 240. Conference table / work bench #1: Wenge and White Ash Table

It’s been a while since I posted any projects, so I figured I’d better do so before you all forget my name. I previously posted a Library stair unit, and this table is the accompaning piece of furniture to that. The client needed a conference table, but he also wanted a workbench, as he was prone to dismantel his computer occasionaly, in name of improving it. A Visit from "Kev", a Fellow Lumberjock

Yesterday, I enjoyed an afternoon of getting to know a fellow lumberjock, “Kev”, otherwise known as Kevin Larcom from Wichita. He has a design for a Thorsen Table Challenge project, but didn’t have any wood. So, I set him up with some walnut and maple. I’m anxious to see how it comes together by the end of the Month.
