We've Moved to New Hosting Provider

12-02-2007 12:51 PM by Martin Sojka | 34 comments »

During last 2 weeks I’ve been testing services by relatively new hosting provider – Slicehost. They have narrow and very focused offer which is quite unique among hosting providers. Testing proved me that it’s worth to move our sites to them. I was happy with the support as well as other aspects on our old provider but Slicehost offers streamlined interface and easier expansion in the future. The move day was yesterday. I’d like to apologize for no notice before th...

06-20-2017 09:14 PM by Combo Prof | 13 comments »

I plan to retire in 2 or 3 years, so we bought a retirement wood shop. It came with a little house. So we are moving from a 4,000 square foot house to a 1,000 square foot house (excluding basements); from 1.9 acres to 0.15 acres; from difficult to travel to easy to travel; from little or no restaurants and stores to lots of them; from the UP to Southwest Michigan; from the forest to the rust belt; from copper country to tulip town; from Houghton to Holland. New Shop! #1: Planning & Moving

06-11-2012 03:24 AM by Ryan Haasen | 4 comments »

We are adding on to our shop! My dad and I have been talking about it for a while and have finally pulling the trigger! Our current shop is 44’ by 36’ (1,584 square feet), and every inch of that space is occupied. Here’s what it looks like right now: We will be adding 12’ to each side and 12’ on the back. It will then be 60’ wide and 56’ long (3,360 square feet). The extra 12’ on each side will be separated by a wall from the middle (large) r...
