Dust Collector CFM change with Mods

This is ment to give and idea of what happens to air flow when we do mods to a dust collector. I have been getting along with my vacuum ok, but time to upgrade. After stalking (lol) this site for a few months and checking Craig’s list all the time, I decided to buy a HF dust collector. My BT3100 Table Saw Upgrades

Years ago when I just needed a cheap table saw for misc household projects, I bought a Ryobi BT3100 at Home Depot. At that time, it was cheap and was one of the nicer ones for the money. Now, years later, as I am getting back into woodworking, I need a good saw that will handle jigs and such. I know this is a divided topic – some LOVE it, some HATE.
