View on YouTubeI had an amazing time at Woodworking in America. This was my first time there and I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect. As always, one of my biggest concerns was meeting and hanging out with new people and that was NO PROBLEM! Everyone I met was not just friendly, but downright welcoming. Earlier this spring, my dad brought over his old cabinets that he’d used for his shop workbench. He’s had these longer than I can even remember and is finally upgrading his set up at his shop and offered them to me. Video Woodworkers I Watch #16: Jay Bates

Jay Bates is another one of those people who knows how to build something. I don’t recall how I originally found him, but his habit of using recycled materials sure doesn’t hurt in the realm of why I watch his videos.
