As you see, i have finaly come to the last part of the flower carving. I have the rough shape, and started the last part of sanding and detail shaping. I have always loved this part when it comes to these types of carvings, when at last the image i have had in my head takes form and gets Sharp, its like tuning a lense. No [new] pics or videos in this post, but I thought I’d drop a note for posterity to say that I’m excited about my future of hand plane work and the setting up of parts and sharpening of irons that comes with their use.
