View on YouTube I had gotten this plane off of ebay initially. The seller is actually selling her father’s antique collection, sadly he passed away at a young age from cancer and has left her his collection. I decided to restore the plane and give her a little video of it so she could see what was being done with the tool. HandWorks Event 2015 #1: What an Amazing Event!

Four friends and I drove down from Minneapolis to Cedar Rapids for the 2015 Handworks Event. I was quite pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We were only there on Friday, but it went on for the whole weekend. Wow, where to start! A Pair of Small Infill Smoothers #1: Let the games begin!

As some of you may have seen, I built a prototype of a small infill smoother (blog starts here). This went well enough that I decided to make one for myself from precision ground steel. Well, as it turns out, with the way lengths work for precision ground O1, I ended up buying enough for 3 small smoothers and 4 blades, which is perfect, since the prototype needs a blade.
