You know how sometimes you buy a tool kinda on impulse and regret it later? I half expected that to be the case with this WorkSharp. I figured I would find that it was kinda finnicky and that when all was said and done I would get a better edge faster using my diamond plates and I would end up selling the WS. I was wrong. This will likely be a couple-of-entry series but I thought it might be of interest since sharpening, love it or hate it, is a necessary chore for most of us. Sharpening Router Bits

Since the router bits are now clean, I might as well sharpen them. Yesterday I showed you how I clean saw blades, router bits and clean up the belt sander belts. Since I’ve got the router bits clean and I was ready to put them away I figured I might as well sharpen them. I use 3 in 1 oil with the sharpening tools on my router bits. Downtime

Well, I have not had much time to work in the shop this week. My chunky boxes are just waiting for final sanding and finish, but I can’t seem to get the free time at home right now. Maybe this upcoming long weekend, with it being Rememberance day on Monday. But I did manage to swing by the local PrincessAuto yesterday on my way home, and I walked out with a cheap $12 diamond-plate sharpening block (on sale). It has four 2×6 sides, each with a different grit (200, 300, 400, 600)....
