I started by laying out marks 3½ inches apart, and drew marks four inches from the edge of the board (or 3½ from the other edge). Picked out the 12/16 bit, chucked it in my brace, and started drilling holes. I picked the ¾ inch bit because it had relat...

There are several types of these available, but I wanted this one made of brass. Even though I’m not even close to creating a violin, at least I have a tool to help spur me along on my journey.
The tool above the cutter is a thin specialized chisel used to dig out the material after the cutter digs the path.
This gives...

THROW YOUR SANDPAPER AWAY!!! Ok, so don’t throw your sandpaper away, but cut down on the amount of dust in your shop by making this quick and easy tool. A card scraper is also very useful when working around knots in wood. In this video I show you how to take an old, out of service saw blade and turn it into something useful again. Thanks for viewing, comments welcome, and as always, please subscribe to my Youtube Channel.
