View on YouTube Last week I was lucky enough to have LJ’s own Doc Savage visit my shop. Of course I put him to work while he was there!! All kidding aside, it was nice of him to stop by and we had a really nice visit. Anyway, I shot some video of him while he was here and included it in my most recent shop update. Spindles #5: It's raining, but I'm still finishing

It’s been a great week for getting caught up on spindle production. The weather in North Seattle is gray and wet. That means that shop time won’t be that pleasant. That’s OK. I have a handful of orders to sand, polish, and finish. I’m looking for a good source for Birdseye Maple and Tulipwood. Later today, I’m meeting up with a new client and we’re going to spin some yarn together.

It was referred to in You know you are a LumberJock by Yorkshire Stewart and it was item #391 The blog is here It was a Cherry Burl Log that was dropped off at my house.
