Refinish a Table Top #3: Completed Refinishing this Coffee Table Top

I completed spraying the polyurethane finish on this table. I had a few spots that I scuffed sanded on the lower portion of the table. I applied some of my dye mix to those areas. I made sure the remainder of the table was clean and then sprayed a light coat of finish to the lower portion of this table. I will give this table tonight and most of the morning tomorrow to dry. Once it checks okay I will apply a thin coat of dark brown Briwax and buff that thoroughly. I have already told...

It has been over two weeks since I have written about my attempts to refinish the top of this coffee table. Here is what has transpired. I reached out to Charles Neil for help. He accepted to assist me, or at least give me advice. There were attempts to clean what appeared to be blotchy areas. Charles was interested in the contents of the finish remover product I used. My neighbor damaged the top of this coffee table. He was thinking getting rid of it or just covering the damage top. I told him I thought it could be repaired, refinished. I asked him to give me a chance to refinish it; to restore it. Martin gave his okay. I began by removing the existing finish with a finish remover I bought at my local big box store.
