Overview The entire boat will be covered in Avery Killer Weed blind grass. The flip blind doors accommodate attachment via the brushing straps. I chose a heavy duty mesh material for the bow and stern of the boat. Small zip ties easily push through the mesh to fasten the grass anywhere on the surface. Finishing, oh finishing, how I loathe thee...

As if I didn’t hate sanding enough, I’m starting to really loathe finishing. I’m making three baby gates for my little girl and there is a lot of spindles involved. Needless to say I am having a nightmare with the finishing process. I first tried spraying them but was getting too many runs as I don’t think my gun was dialed in properly and overspray everywhere because the spindles are pretty thin.
