Reverend Wood: Updates ....and so such is this passing of a way, that i am become the instilled voice of all that is written within, as to the coming of my many ages lived inside this cache, till comes the oneness of all knowing as shadowed between this partition of glassy berlin…. —-have you seen the such as i, where in your dreams of forest tales from hearts of wood, there comes the dragging sounds of lumber chains before your eye, and will some still continue on as playing r...

"Red Berry Hearts" --by RusticWoodArt

06-27-2007 01:40 PM by frank | 4 comments »

Red Berry Hearts....and so this morning I’m off to eat some more and more and….more! I found these yesterday in one of our gardens out back. We’ve been eating and freezing strawberries galore, and my wife has informed me that I should be eating more and more, since the freezer is filling up. Last year we stopped freezing strawberries after the freezer count reached thirty eight and I’m sure we’re at that number again, plus we’ve probably went over. So...

"Wood Tales From Beyth ha-`Emeq" --by RusticWoodArt #1: "Reverend Wood"

Reverend Wood ....out in the outbacks of waundering o’er hill and dale, through forest woods of glee-full smells, i went past a place of timely shuttered veil, till my first thought was to cast open and lighten this place of experienced abundant wells…. —-”i am the gripper of all you’ll ever get from me”, said this one who veiled their shuttered expressions in claustrophobic pieces of timber, and with that remark the ‘gripper’ closed the door...

"Re-turning to Secret Garden" --by RusticWoodArt

06-25-2007 03:40 PM by frank | 5 comments »

Re-turning to Secret Garden ....’twas in this space of early morning starsun, that the forest of woods opened their branchlets, and i knowing none the wiser stepped forward as one, till in my soon to be awakening of having an expression of being’s inarticulates…. —-i paused to drink the smell of lichen wonders, and who could say any the different now in this place of morning quest, since there were none to follow me on my passionate adventures, so i scrub the flo...

"Wood Tales to Tell" --by RusticWoodArt

06-24-2007 01:50 PM by frank | 5 comments »

Wood Tales to Tell ....as waundering this path of least resistance to articles of change, i soon found that in the arena’s of heavens ether, i was found gathered amongst the trees of this outlying grange, where the spirits of ancient wood hence forth became my daily nourisher…. —-heal my body…., heal my soul…., heal my spirit…., “heal thyself” the trees then spoke to me…. —-and so i went the way of learning the silence of a ...

"Imagination as Timed Out" --by RusticWoodArt

06-23-2007 03:51 PM by frank | 6 comments »

Imagination as Timed Out ....and so it comes that with the passing of time, i sought to find a way to get outside that box of losing my-self, by being regulated//manipulated to the governing of the tick-tock, where all creation awaits the timeless shape shifting viewers of master sculptors…. —-this thing we call wood, is but the image that presents it-self to us as before us, and therefore can be likened to the trees that are found in forest glens, from taking the moments of n...

"Wood Gathers with Beauty" --by RusticWoodArt

02-28-2007 09:01 AM by frank | 6 comments »

Wood Gathering with Beauty ....beauty is a form of life, that once striking the eye of the be-holder,can thereafter only suffer all the better of ‘very good’, where manics of frozen frames walk away wondering at what moment in time they missed the boat…. —-ah yes it is so, sometimes i waunder in and out of forest wonder, filling my head with the three graces of eve, ‘give’-’gather’ and ‘gustable’.... —-now having this...

"Working Hands Make Good Progress" --by RusticWoodArt

06-21-2007 02:06 PM by frank | 6 comments »

Working Hands Make Good Progress ….and so here i go again, sliding across the grains of wood, kicking up some sawdust as i plough a plane, looking to be fitted in tight for all good…. And so it was that Tuesday evening I managed to get this one finished up and started tweaking the saw to achieve it’s height of perfection, in the midst of cutting for ‘wood joinery’. One could call this one a ‘dovetail saw’....’sliding dovetail saw’....’push...

Handwork in Progress:—-’at making a …..’ ....and so this one here is a work in ‘the process’ which should be done today or tomorrow, depending on what and where my kayak decides to go today! Not getting much time in the shop at the moment, as the powers that be….those gods of the water are taking my time and once in the grip of their clutches, kayak and I are one. Summers in NH can be short and so I use and plan, along with being spontaneous for...

"Indian Paint Brushes" --by RusticWoodArt

06-17-2007 01:32 PM by frank | 6 comments »

Indian Paint Brushes ....the extension of my being, is the gifting of all things as one, just as the where-with-all of partaking from daily seeing, has now stepped forth to include my completed self as being finished and done…. And so at the end of the day on Saturday, I walked through the back yard and was drawn to the beauty of these….what we call, ‘Indian Paint Brushes’. When mowing out back we will skip large areas of the yard at times and leave this and othe...
