6 Weekend - The Jointer Restoration Was Finished

Finally finished. The final result as you can see below. After the finished cabinet I worked one more weekend on the finish process. Some more coats of paint and sanding… The engine door in your place, with bolt holes that will keep it fixed. The 1hp engine in place: The old machine: ... and finally the new machine:

Once more weekend and the project keeps going. The main objetive was to finish the base this weekend, but due the some troubles I came to late then I should in workshop. Plans in hand it’s time to make it happening: First step is ressawing a lumber of Sucupira (as known as Brazilian Chestnut) wood. Acerbi is a Brazilian brand that went bankrupt in the 90s. They made high quality iron cast machines during various years. All of your machines had been made 100% in Brazil.
