New Bid SubmittedThis morning I sent out my bid for a commissioned job to build two side altars for a church, matching the old original center altar. After spending so much time estimating and pondering if I left anything out, or put too much in the bid, I am glad I have finally made the decision, typed it up, and sent it out. This afternoon after a great lunch prepared by my wife, and a long nap, I went outside to enjoy an abnormally warm day for Kansas in November. I started out doing things I should do, like putting away the garden hose, the sprinkler, and things like that. But, then I again was sidetracked to something more “fun” looking. I was commissioned to build a creche for one of my Dad’s customers (Well, Dad was commissioned, but I’m “subcontracting” At any rate I’m getting paid to do woodworking, and not resorting to family to supply the cash!)
