So my wife and I moved into a new home this past January. With our 2 boys growing up and the housing market here in Austin, TX skyrocketing it was time. We were in the old house for a little over 10 years and had some great equity. So the best part about this from my standpoint beside the bigger house was a 3 car garage and I built a 12×18 storage shed in the backyard that is split into a 12×10 workshop, and 12×8 storage. Part 2: Cabinet Surgery and relocation Part 1

The first thing to do in my rearrange is to relocate these 2 cabinets. I spent several nights early in the week emptying them out. They held spray can bombs and automotive parts and chemicals. All of that has been relocated to the auto cabinets on the back wall. I found a new place for all the jigs on top too. Forgot to take a picture of it. The problem is they are going to the shed but I am having to do some surgery on them and basically cut the top portion of the cabinets off. These ...

I finished the cabinets and got them in their new home. Just in time before the rain started pouring. New top and face frame rail on the 2nd base cabinet. Drilling some pocket holes for the rail. Putting the frame together. I really enjoy using pocket screws they are easy to do, fast, and strong. After mounting the face frame back to the cabinet next thing was to cut the doors down.
