My workshop is probably fairly typical for the average hobbyist woodworker. I have a Ridgid 10” contractor style table saw, 13” surface planer, Ryobi 12” compound miter saw, benchtop drill press, sanders, chisels, etc… I am looking to get (hopefully in the near future) a 14” bandsaw (been looking at that new Jet w/ the extended resaw capacity), and a 6” Jointer…...UPDATE!!!

Little late in posting this, but I decided on the 14” cast iron table bandsaw from Steel City. I did, however, get the 6” riser block. Also using a 1/2” woodslicer blade from Highland Woodworking and I LOVE it. Not that I really have much to compare it to though. I promise I’ll get some pics up soon. Thanks for visiting!

Bfree, is there any chance we could get some pictures of your shop posted?

Hey guy’s. Thanks for the comments and welcomes. I’ll try to get some pics of my stuff sometime soon. I work in field service on CNC machines and have little time at home during the week, so it may take some time. Also, I’ll first have to move the riding mower and 4 wheeler out of the way just to get to it. I’m hoping that with my tax return, I’ll buy (or build) me a small shed to house all of my yard implements of destruction so that I’ll have more room in the old garage for making sawdust. God bless and stay safe.
