Location: Frankfort KY

I live in Frankfort KY now but spent my first 51 years in Cadiz KY-a small town in Western KY much like Mayberry-I work for the Commonwealth of Kentucky and have for many years--finally going to get my workshop organized and back to doing a bit of woodworking. A couple of years ago I sold my table saw, band saw and planner. Got a new band saw and am working on re-building my tool collection. It's great fun.

Thanks guys—I’ve been intending to join for a long time-but you know what they say about good intentions-I am a woodworking fan—I’ve done a bit and intend to do much more-I’ve been watching this site for a long time while working on my workshop and finding my tools -I’ve done mostly remodeling work over the years and am looking forward to actually relaxing in the shop (if that’s possible)—I’ll work on my profile and posting stuff as time allows-

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
