Red Neck Splitter for my Unisaw - 10 replies

Ok, not a riving knife, I know that. But it will get me by until I decide on a more permanent fix/solution. btw…. I can see why, or better how, BORK and others get +150.00 for their riving knives. I cut the splitter from a length of 2 in. x 1/8 in. mild steel I had. Had to grind/sand/file/thin it down to get it to work. Little sucker...

BORK for a Unisaw - 3 replies

Been reading the reviews here on LJs about the BORK riving knife, and came out with a question… From looking at the various photos, it looks like the bracket blocks access to the arbor for blade changing. Need Unisaw arbor washer - I think.... - 12 replies

The current washer that came with my used 34-459 rt. tilt Uni is about 3 1/2 inches in diameter, about 1 inch bigger than the flange on the arbor that the blade fits up against. And, there’s a “hollow” to the blade washer, so when I put a little pressure on the nut/waher to hold the blade in place, the blade actually develops ...
