Well I really do not have a workshop, I use my garage and driveway for all things that I build. Hopefully one of these days I will have a fully dedicated workshop.
There are still tons of tools that I do not have and would make my life alot easier and if I had the room I would probably already have them.
I curently have most of the basics.
Portable table saw
Benchtop band saw
Bench top drill press
Router
Biscuit joiner
Circular saw
These tools make up the major tools in my garage shop, I will be upgrading my table saw in the very near future.

I have a garage shop also. It would be interesting to see pictures of your shop.
