Part 1: Handsaws, a rehab story #2
Since that last saw was started into “re-hab” a few others have joined them: Homemade handle, after the “finish” is on. I also had a Disston Rancher to re-finish( one of the new arrivals) So now I had an Orphan Saw to re-do. No sawnuts for it, since they went onto the homemade handle. Handle didn’t look all THAT bad: And the saw plate was in good shape. Turns out it was a Disston D23, from the late 40s-early 50s. Took the handle out to the shop...
