Part 1: Getting to a glue up...

One of the chores in the last few projects, is ripping a panel, or just a plank, to get to a certain width. usually results in a strip of scrap…..that for some reason or other, I just can’t throw out. After a while, there is a pile of the strips of scraps…too small to do much more than a few cauls….which get tossed away once the clamps are done with them… So…some thinking was done, dangerous I know…about gluing up a panel of those scraps…t...

Part 2: Time for a PIP?

Been distracted the last few days…..working on building a metal shed out in the backyard….about the only wood working THAT involved…. Was cutting a couple 2×6 x 10’ treated planks down to 81-1/2” lengths….to go with the other 2×6 x 10’ planks for the base of the shed….Disston D-112, 26”, 7ppi…1927 saw… Managed to get the Cutting Board of of the clamps….sanded and planed smooth….a small can of varnish...
