« Part 8: Day 8, 2 steps forward, one step back Part 9 of Blanket Chest Project series Part 10: Day #10/11 »

Still worn out from yesterday….the two ends needs to be released from their clamps and cauls….cleared off the tablesaw….and decided to just dry fit all the sides…..

First corner…framer square to make sure the corner is square…1 c clamp holding the “foot” together..

Second corner, same as the first….no glue involved, today…

I’m thinking THIS will be the back of the chest…..more to set up the army of clamps I’ll need, when I get around to a glue up….one end was in need of an extra clamp..

End’s leg has a slight bow to it, couple clamps to pull it flat during the glue up…..going to be a “FUN” glue up,,as this spot is about the largest, flatest easy to access spot in the shop….floor is too uneven…

Not as long, or exciting as the last few Blogs…..just making sure the case will indeed go together, and have all the clamps set and ready to grab and go…..

Stay tuned…

Nice dry run. I hate having to scramble to find a clamp while the glue is starting to set…
