Not exactly…..Finally, was just going to look at the hardware box….to see what hinges, latches, and handles were left…..Not much….some more fiddling with how the lid and box fit together….had the box assembled, and clamped in the vise…was using the #4 to smooth out a couple bumps on the back of the box….

Then, this happened..

had to cut the head off of a small, skinny nail, and chuck it into my cordless drill…pilot holes…dug out the fancy screwdriver to drive those very tiny screws….Ok…

turned the box over in the vise….more smooth plane work…then it happened again..

T’would seem that this is the latch that was chosen…..started to work on the ends…

Handles! These were supposed to get nailed on? this time…I have more than enough screws on hand…

Got to thinking about HOW to stack 7 chisels in the box….decided to use up a bit of skinny scraps..

Smear the backs of the parts with glue…there is a cross piece under the chisels bolsters….and..seems I gained a chisel?
And THAT was it for Tuesday….shoulders were still sore…and this didn’t help all that much…Wednesday will be a better day, I hope..

Stay tuned…
