Ok..drawer #2 was soon cleaned up, handled…and fitted to the opening…

Got to thinking about some sort of molding around the drawers, and something for the doors to rest on…in the meantime…drawer #3..

Same as the other two…letting it sit a while…back to the molding…decided on some sort of square stock…

But, the only way to get some, was to rip it down….Hmmm. decided to rip stock for stiles and rails, for the doors, too..

And run a groove down the center to house the plexiglass…even went upstairs to double check that the groove would fit…Molding?

Just glue and screws, nothing fancy.

Decided that the door will meet with a 1/2 lap joint….Used a scrap of pine to make a set-up block…

So two stiles were done like this…two others will get a piano hinge. Laid out where, and how much to cut the rails down to….allowing for tenons. Left hand door will get done first….then use that to fine tune the right hand door..

Hmm, already moving in….

stay tuned….
