« Part 8: Drawer made, top done.. Part 9 of Build a table, with Leftovers series no next part

When last seen, drawer was sitting clamped up…has since been unclamped, dovetails cleaned up, front stained…

Rest of the table also got a coat of stain…

Drawer seemed to fit..

Then, the matter of a handle….had a few extra choices..

Decided on the one at the bottom of the picture…

Except…the brass plating was flaking off in spots….wire wheeled the rest off….leaving a “Brushed Nickel” effect.
Set the table up out of the way…and let everything dry a day or so..

Maybe later, I can add a top coat to the stain? Kind of cramped in the shop, to get a decent PIP photo…

Will post as a Project, once the top coat is done….Thanks for looking in…

Congrats on another well documented project. I enjoy following your posts. This table looks to be a very useful and good looking item.
