Before this is posted as a Project?
Miwax Dark Walnut oil stain…brush a bit on….then wipe down..

Then Minwax Clear Gloss Poly..one coat

Fun part, was carrying this up those stairs….have a leaky hole in the top of me head, now….it is called a header for a reason…ow.

Pencil trays seem to work well enough..

These two stretchers are where your feet will go, so they are offset to the rear

Anyone want to try to build one of these?

Will be posting as a project, here in a bit….thanks for following along!

Somehow looks out of place in today’s world, would like to stand behind it and feel its presence, sure hope you left your mark on it for future generations?
