I have always loved arts and crafts and making things out of wood has always been one of my favorite crafts. I am definitely not a "fine" woodworker, but I enjoy the process and have owned at least a few power tools for most of my adult life.

Maybe its because I love nature so much, but I have also always loved the smell and the beautiful grain of many types of lumber.

Now that I have reached the age where I can retire and do more of what I want, I am hoping to start spending more time on crafts and woodworking. My plan is to get my garage cleared out enough to make a usable area for woodworking and I will probably also try to figure out how to add an AC.

I'm glad I found this site again because I had forgotten about it for awhile! Can't wait to see what everyone is making!
