My workshop is a one-car garage that shares space with a motorcycle, bicycles, ladders, etc. So I am trying to always be space efficient. Some of my tools are inherited and are 20 or so years older than me, but they were well cared for and still operate well.

Nicely maintained tools. That older stuff was supposed to be pretty bloody good quality.

Nice set up. Those tools look like they are in great shape.

Alot of people dog Craftsman for their quality, mostly newer equipment within the past 10 years or so. Some of the older stuff is excellent and you just can’t beat it. I have some older craftsman equipment also, some dating back to the ‘30s and ‘40s. Inherited it from my father-in-law. He use to run a cabinet shop years ago..

Hi Backsaw,

You have a nice set up and I like the older tools that you have. They seem to last a lot longer than those being marketed today.

Thanks for the post.
