Hi Buddies and fellow LJ’s. I am sorry I have not been around these past few weeks but things have been pretty hard to handle. Then on Saturday 28th June life really kicked me in the gut when my amazing loving wife Kelley passed away in the ICU of the Hospital. I cant even face the workshop knowing my Kelley will not be on the other side of the wall doing her pottery while I am making sawdust. I am so very lost with out her, 18 years younger than me she was far far to young to leave us, it should have been me. At this stage not even sure that I will go back in there I guess only time will tell. Thank you all guys and gals for all the great projects, help and kind comments on my few projects. LJ’s is an amazing community of awesome woodworkers. I am not saying goodbye I just don’t know what the future will be for me as I am just in total disbelief of her passing away so suddenly. Life really sucks.
David

My God Dave, my heart goes out to you. I’m so sorry for your loss. What are the words to say? Only that i hope you find the strength and have the faith to get through this most difficult of times and eventually find healing. Know that you have the concern and caring of others in your corner. God bless.

Very very sorry to hear the bad news Dave. I can’t imagine what it would be without my wife around. Prayers for you and the family. Do whatever you have to do. Life does suck at times and only time brings it back together. Take care my friend.

David, I am so sorry to hear this. Having lost a son I can empathize with your feelings. I can’t say anything to make it better for you but wanted you to know that you are in all of our thoughts and prayers. You will never “get over” the loss but time will make it easier to bear.

I really know how you feel. My wife passed on June 15th. She lost her second battle with cancer. We were together for 30 years and I also feel lost.

Dave, I am so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine the hole it must leave in you to lose you wife like that.
I have lost 2 good friends inside of a week and now a friend’s wife. You have my deepest sympathy, Dave.
Trust in God to give you comfort. You will never understand the why of it.
Sincerely, Jim

Dave, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife. There are no good answers to the reasons why. I just pray that, in time, you will heal enough to continue on. Just know that the LJ community will always be here to support you.
