Hey everyone! So today I made my first sell ever as a wood worker. I sold a magic wand that I turned on my lathe. Granted it was only $10 but for me that was a huge accomplishment. Although I do woodworking just because I like to, It is nice to know that my work is good enough ( although no where near as good as all of you) that people are willing to shell out a few dollars because they want it. My wife is set up at a festival where we live selling her embroidery stuff and I thought I would turn a few magic wands to try and sell. The wood was free and the finish for them all cost a grand total of $5. Unfortunately I am unable to attend the festival. She opened at around 7 a.m and by 10 a.m. She told me that she had sold a wand. I hope she sells some more as the day goes on. Like I said, small potatos for most of you, but a huge accomplishment for me. I just thought I would share with you all. It just made me feel good. I didn’t get to take pictures before sending them to sale, but i will take pictures of whatever doestn’t sale and post them later. I know everyone loves to see the pictures, as do I.
