Location: Albuquerque, NM

New to woodworking, but becoming very enthused. Main goal is to learn to make furniture for myself, friends, and family. Just got my first real machine, a Delta JT-360, for christmas.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome everyone. To be honest, I was a little hesitant to join. The workmanship here seems pretty advanced and I’m the definition of a newbie.

I only began woodworking about 18 months ago. I started working in the Internet department at Woodworker’s Supply in Albuquerque a couple of years ago, and decided that I needed to learn about the products we sell. Now I’m a few projects in and completely enthralled. My golf clubs have collected a nice layer of sawdust.

Thanks again for the welcome, I look forward to being an active member of the community!
