Here is what I am working on at present. Proving to be quite a challenge for me….which is good for me. The show timber is Kowhai |ˈkəʊwʌɪ, ˈkɔːfʌɪ| noun
a tree of the pea family, which bears hanging clusters of yellow flowers. It is native to New Zealand and Chile and yields useful timber. Birds like the Tui are attracted to the yellow flowers.
Anyway…...have a look and I hope you enjoy it.

Very interesting Andy, looking good! I used laminates for my Haig inspired rocker- I’ll try the steam bending route one day…

Glad to see another one of your videos. Looking forward to the next one. I am curious to see how this project will turn out. Steam bending thicker pieces of wood is not easy. Gluing laminated strips is much more forgiving.
