New fence for my Rigid table saw - 7 replies

I have had this saw for about 10 years and for the most part I have been happy with it. The biggest problem is that the fence doesn’t stay aligned with the miter slot. I have been able to work around this by taking a lot of extra time on almost every cut to make sure this fence is square. Well, now I have decided to bite the bullet and buy ...

Replacement parts for drill press - 5 replies

I recently broke a torsion spring in my 7 or 8 year old Ryobi drill press (DP102L). This is no big deal and given the amount of time I have put in on this drill press I have no complaints about the quality of the tool. Now comes the rub. When I checked the availability of a replacement part I discovered that this part is considered obsolete and ...

Dewalt Customer Service - 27 replies

If I had cut my finger off with my scroll saw it would have been a far less painful experience than dealing with DeWalts Canadian customer service. I was trying to find a replacement switch and at this point I wish I hadn’t bothered. It is very sad but DeWalt is not the only guilty party in this whole fiasco. Customer service in this day a...
