brass rod hinge pins - 1 reply Hi thanks to everyone that has helped me with this question, especially andy. If anyone knows of a detailed placement like andy did I would be interested, also can these type boxes be make with 1/2” material, because I have a bunch of walnut for just this purpos. as always thanks and all of you have been so gracious. |

andys tutorial - 3 replies Hi I’m trying to contact andy about the hinge pin on the art boxes, but it says i cant send a question without 5 post? anyway andy can you elaborate on how you placed the brass rod? is it glued in and how does it pivot in the lid? any help would be appreciated, I can’t wait to try some of your techniques thanks. |

hinge pins - 1 reply HI I’m new to this website so bear with me. I relly enjoyed andy’s artbox tutorial, but I cannot figure out how he attaced the brass rod hinge pin, did he use glue and only on the box and not the lid, was the lid drilled out more so it pibvts easily? any help would be appricialted. thanks |
