I grew Up in Michigan and somewhat in West Virginia, bounced around and finally ended up in Tennessee in 99. Living in Knoxville for 7 years distracted me from entering into some hobbies that interested me, but now that I have been living in a small town (and with my daughter's 1st year under my belt) I have been slowly been drawn back to those things that interest me plus I am looking for a hobby that keeps me around the house but not neccesarily in it. I spent alot of time with outdoor hobbies, like Kayaking, but now wiith a family I feel a bit guilty about being gone all day to run a river. In the past couple of years I have rebuilt an old International Scout and worked with my Dad on rebuilding/restoring old British motorcycles, I have enjoyed the mechanical aspect of working on old vehicles as well as the "puzzle" of taking something apart and putting it back together. Now I would really like to get into what I think is the greatest bit of "puzzelry", taking raw pieces of wood and turnning them into something attactive or functional.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
