This is made from bethlehem olive wood and the lamest grained birds eye maple. The angles were a huge challenge.

very nicely done.

curious – did you try any techniques to pop the birds eyes? they can get finicky, but could yield interesting results.

I didn’t. But the wood just didn’t have that much figure in it. Still love the look.
