« Part 3: Clutter has to go! Part 4 of shop remodel series no next part

After yesterday’s near anxiety attack working in my crazy clutter I spent the night creating my first big step to organizing it all! One thing I have been wanting to do it make better use of one long wall where my saws are located. Here are a couple pictures of the cleanup process and begins of my saw station which will hold my RAS and Miter saw.

If you read the previous blog you can see the massive difference already just clean out all of the cutoffs and scrap. I sat back after this and just had a big weight lifted off my chest. Felt great to clean the area up.

The next few pictures I took to just show the progress… and my kids and dog had to photo bomb one of them :)

Pretty decent progress for the day I think. If all works out well in the near future I will get the saws mounted with their fence. I plan on building an dust collection system for them too. Even though my shop is gravel floor and it would still be nice to keep the dust down a bit. Also, plan on building a few drawers and shelves in the base!
So this was my day in the shop along with football all day…amazing
