Improvinig My Marquetry Skills at The Canadian School of French Marquetry
I was inspired to give marquetry a try by the number of superb marquetry projects on Lumberjocks. I have played around with simple marquetry projects for a number of projects, cutting my marquetry by hand with a fret saw using the double bevel technique. In particular I have followed the work of LJ’s Shipwright (Paul Miller). When Paul opened the Canadian School of French Marquetry several years ago I had hoped to one day make the trip to British Columbia (Canada) and learn from an expert.
