This week I decided to do some turning. I made 3 mallets on the new lathe. The mallets were made from Spalted Hickory, Walnut & Ash, and Walnut and Red Oak.

I made thse mallets to give away to two great friends who have helped me every step of the way while I begin my Turning Journey.
Robert Blanford & Richard Morley are New to the YouTube Scene and I strongly recommend you check out their channels and subscribe. Their videos are informative and helpful. And they are two great guys!

Nicely turned mallets. Wrap that wire around a dowel or somethin so you won’t get burned.
