Biscuit Jointer Spline Jig Build

This is a Jig I made Because I needed something to hold my Jointer steady as I used it to make spline cuts into my wooden boxes and picture frames, I have been using the biscuit jointer for this process for a while now. This is why I came up with this and it works very well and keeps the boxes/Frames very stable during the cutting process. I use two types of clamps. One for the oblong type boxes and The beak type clamp in for complete square type boxes. Below is the link to my youtube Channel as you will see more about it there..

I would have never thought to use my biscuit jointer for spline cuts.
Very clever solution.
