A few months ago I discovered something very cool for woodworkers (watch the above video…or check out the original blog post here). My wife and I strolled into a colorful new French shop in Virginia called L’Occitane En Provence. While sniffing their men’s cologne I discovered a cologne that actually smelled like sweet wood! My wife absolutely loved it, and I was super excited about the idea of smelling wood wherever I went. It’s the best smelling cologne I’ve found. So a couple days ago my wife surprised me with this awesome cologne for our 9th wedding anniversary! Since I don’t read French I’m not actually sure which words on the box are the name of the essence, but I just found it on Amazon here. Hope this helps with your relationships :)

Eau des Baux is a fragrance of knights, courageous Chevaliers des Baux.

Les Baux de Provence is a legendary city-fortress on the south of France. Knights of Les Baux have chosen cypress as symbol of strength and courage. The new EDT was inspired by this medieval legend.

The colour of box is dark red, and similar to the colour of their uniform. Golden-silver star on the box and bottle is also a symbol of knights of Les Baux.

A sensual union of cypress and incense is in the center of composition.

Sounds nice. I have a piece of Spanish Cedar that I plane periodically and put the shavings in a box under the seat in my car, for air freshener. Really nice! I won’t rub the shavings on my face, though.

Hey Smitty, very strange. Have you tried contacting Lumber Jocks about your problem? As much as I’d love you to stay on my blog posts, that’s not very fun!
