swapping saw blades - 2 replies

Looking for a general consensus. I have a 12” miter saw that I plan to use for both construction and fine finish work. I just purchased an 80T blade for doing fine work. The reviews I have read on the blade were all 4-5 stars. Is it worth swapping the fine finish blade with the factory blade when I go from fine work to 2×4 choppin...

Is my compressor beefy enough? - 7 replies

I am looking at buying an inexpensive hvlp gravity feed gun from the big box. It is rated at 5.6cfm @40psi. My compressor does 5.8cfm @40psi with a 15gal tank. The compressor is a Dewalt D55168. I am ready to do a few glue ups and realized I know nothing about clamping, other than you can never have enough and do not tighten too tight. Am I bett...

Are these router bits a good buy? - 27 replies

I am looking into getting a router that will support 1/2” shank bits. I saw this ad today and am curious what others think. There are 66 router bits for $104 bucks plus shipping. This seems dirt cheap. Am throwing good money at cheap bits or are these decent inexpensive bits? Thanks
