I am a Senior Computer scientist. I have been wood working since my teens. Its my outlet. How I relax. My father got me started in wood working. He was always making something kinda neat.

I took several years off, when I went into the Military. I lasted 10 years before I had enough of the baby sitting, once you get to a certain rank that is pretty much all you do. Became a contractor, and started back wood working. I don't get to spend as much time as I would like, working with wood. I have an autistic son (18 years old). So I do what I can, when I can.

The dog in the picture is my English Bulldog Winston. Bulldogs are really neat. They look so mean, but I have not met a mean one yet. We have had three of them. All Big Babies. This one is no exception.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
